The topic of 9/11 is a very personal topic to me. I have family that was scheduled to be in Twin Towers that day. My friend’s uncle died in the second tower. All this happened when I was 5, therefore, I did not understand what had happened but now that I am older it is a very unsettling topic for me. As Catholics, we are called to forgive; as humans, we hate. Forgive means to cease to blame or hold resentment against. To this day we still blame Osama and we are still at war with the middle east over it. Some people might have forgiven but no one will ever forget. Jesus teaches us to forgive in John 21:1-19. Jesus forgives Peter after Peter denies him 3 times. He also forgives everyone’s sins! Jesus forgave everyone but everyone can’t be like Jesus.
